Faculty & Staff

Ms. Aili began at SBMA in 2021 and plays several roles in our community: she co-teaches the Mandarin Language class, supports our French and Mandarin Primary classroom, and helps lead Before Care. Originally from central China, she is fluent in Mandarin and English and holds a master’s degree in Law. After transitioning from a legal career in intellectual property, she discovered her passion for teaching and earned an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. "Working with young children inspires me to a better me everyday. They give me unconditional love, and trust me 100%. The smile on their face is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen."

 Ms. Aili and her family love to spend time outdoors hiking and playing tennis. Her sons, one of whom is a proud SBMA alum, come to visit us and our school's pet gerbils, Jibble and Cutie. Ms. Aili is pursuing her Montessori Primary Certification at the Barrie Montessori Institute, and she especially enjoys sensorial materials, finding them naturally engaging for young children.
